Who we are

We at EmpowR care about how the information you provide is used and shared. This privacy policy applies to how information is collected and used both online when visiting RaeCarterEmpowR.com, RaeCarterEmpower.com, EmpowR-Voice.com, and Empower-Voice.com, EmpowR social media channels, and when information is provided offline.

Personal data collection and how it is shared

Contact forms

Personal information provided in contact forms including your name, email, phone number, and address are collected for communication purposes between EmpowR and its programs, offerings, or services with clients, potential clients, and members of the EmpowR community. Contact forms use third party vendor, Acuity, for scheduling which adheres to SquareSpace terms of use and privacy policy.

You may manage your receipt of communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of EmpowR Voice newsletter and other EmpowR communication emails. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to sessions and conversations related to EmpowR services. We will process unsubscribe requests in a timely manner; however, it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our databases.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage to never provide personal information through websites without parental permission.

Events and Services

Personal information is collected with both online and offline event and service registration, including name, email, phone number, and address and is used for event and/or service registration purposes, including subscription to event communication emails. Events and other services (including online sessions) use third party hosts (Zoom, webinars) and are in compliance with third party vendor privacy statements.

Billing information

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

Information collected uses cookie technology. Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. We take applicable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All security systems can be penetrated and we cannot guarantee the security of our databases or third party applications. There is no guarantee that information you provide is safe during transmission over the internet or that emails are secure.
